Shipping Policy

This policy describes how and when coatclass.com ships orders, the services and costs available, and what happens if something goes wrong in transit.

Free Shipping Threshold

Standard shipping is FREE on all US orders totaling $100.00 or more (after any discounts, before tax). This threshold is applied automatically at checkout; no coupon code is required.

Shipping costs and estimated delivery windows are shown at checkout before you complete your order. Delivery estimates are based on typical carrier transit times and do not constitute a guarantee. Actual delivery may vary due to carrier delays, weather, peak-season volume, or other factors outside our control.

Order Processing

Orders are processed within 1–2 business days after payment is confirmed. Business days are Monday through Friday, excluding US federal public holidays. Orders placed on weekends or holidays will begin processing on the next business day. You will receive a shipping confirmation email with a tracking number once your order has been handed to the carrier.

Where We Ship From

coatclass orders are fulfilled via our European fulfillment center. All applicable US customs duties, import taxes, and brokerage fees are included in the price you pay at checkout (Delivered Duty Paid — DDP). You will not be charged any additional duties or fees at the time of delivery. Estimated transit time from dispatch to US doorstep is 5–7 business days under Standard service.

Where We Ship To

We currently ship to the contiguous United States. We do not ship to PO Boxes or APO/FPO addresses at this time. These are operational limitations, not temporary exclusions; we will update this policy if our shipping capabilities expand.

Sales Tax

Applicable US state and local sales tax is calculated and added at checkout based on your delivery address, where required by law. The tax amount is shown before you confirm your order.

coatclass Replacement Promise

The coatclass Replacement Promise is an optional add-on available during checkout. It is a merchant-backed guarantee provided directly by coatclass — it is not a third-party insurance product and involves no insurance underwriter. When you add the Replacement Promise to your cart, you are purchasing our commitment to replace or refund your order at our cost in the event of loss, theft, or damage in transit, without requiring you to navigate a carrier claims process.

The Replacement Promise is added by default at checkout and may be removed if you choose. If you remove it, lost or damaged packages are subject to the carrier's standard liability terms and our standard Refund Policy. The Replacement Promise charge is non-refundable once a claim has been filed, and is non-refundable in all cases if the original order is refunded via a return.

To file a claim under the Replacement Promise, email support@coatclass.com with your order number and a description of the issue (loss, theft, or damage). For damage claims, please include photographs of the damaged package and contents. We will respond within 5 business days and, upon verification, will initiate a replacement shipment or refund at our discretion.

Delivery Issues

If your tracking information shows “delivered” but you have not received your package, please take the following steps before contacting us:

  1. Check with household members and neighbors in case the package was accepted or set aside by someone else.
  2. Check any secure mailboxes, parcel lockers, or building front desks.
  3. Wait 48 hours, as carriers occasionally update tracking to “delivered” one to two days before the final delivery scan.

If your package still has not arrived after 48 hours from the “delivered” scan, please contact us at support@coatclass.com with your order number and tracking details. If you added the coatclass Replacement Promise, we will resolve the issue at our cost. If you did not add it, we will work with the carrier on your behalf, though carrier liability for packages confirmed as delivered may be limited.

Damaged Packages

If your package arrives visibly damaged, please photograph the outer packaging and the contents before discarding any materials, and email us at support@coatclass.com within 7 days of delivery. We will arrange a replacement or refund in accordance with our Refund Policy.

Address Changes

Shipping address changes must be requested before your order enters fulfillment. Because our processing is automated and begins immediately upon order submission, we cannot guarantee that address changes can be accommodated after placement. Please verify your shipping address carefully before completing checkout. We are not responsible for orders delivered to an address provided incorrectly at the time of purchase. Once an order has shipped, address changes are subject to the carrier's redirect policies and fees, which are the customer's responsibility.
